The Gillott 170 nib is smaller than the Gillott 404 and 303 nibs. It is very flexible and smooth, capable of producing thick swells.

Used for small to medium x-heights.

The Gillott 303 nib is probably the most commonly used nib for Copperplate. It is sharply pointed and flexible. Produces elegant hairlines.

Suitable for small to medium x-heights.

Gillott drawing pens are used for copperplate writing by both professionals and beginners.

The Gillott 404 nib provides a fine hairline but is not as fragile as the 303 and 170 size nibs.
