Iron Gall Ink

Brian Walker is an experienced penman of many years standing. Originally he made Walker's Copperplate Ink for own his personal use in Spencerian Script and Ornamental Penmanship, but many other penmen have now found it equally pleasing to use.

Walker's Copperplate Ink is a highly researched iron gall ink made to conservation standards. Initially made from a nineteenth century recipe, it is blended still further to achieve a smooth and satisfying ink for the master penman.

Only small quantities are made at a time to ensure the care of the product.

Blot's Iron Gall Ink is based on a medieval recipe. The ink is a lot thinner than other inks and will darken after a while. It flows well and produces fine hairlines.

Sold in a wide necked jar for easier access when using an angled pen holder.
