Lin Kerr was born in South Africa and relocated to the United Kingdom in 1998. She has a degree in Fine Arts, a teaching diploma and began calligraphy in 1985.Lin Kerr’s main interests as a lettering artist lies in exploring the beauty of the letter through various media, with a particular interest in abstract work. She has worked with her own hand-made paper, gold, vellum and textiles. She produces hand-crafted books and mixed media pieces, and is equally at home in oil paints, acrylic and watercolours.Lin is a fully qualified, recognised teacher with teaching certificates from CLAS (Calligraphy & Lettering Society) City & Guilds, a Fine Arts Degree, and a College Art teaching diploma. She teaches and exhibits internationally.

We now stock the Leonardt Poster Nibs. These are similar to the Brause Plakat Nibs. However, the Plakat nibs are only available in three sizes, but the Leonardt Poster Nibs come in six sizes; 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 15mm.

Firstly, apologies for online ordering being unavailable part of Monday and most of Tuesday. This was due to the last task of our summer upgrade/maintenance programme.Recently we have put a lot of effort in to improving our information systems and order processing. Hopefully this will increase our efficiency and improve our service.Thankfully all the maintenance work is done, so now we can concentrate on the calligraphy side of the business.Over the next few weeks there will be further restructuring of the website as we increase our range of products. We have just had a box full of new items delivered and these will be added over the coming weeks. As usual information about the new products will be posted on our blog and will also get a mention on Twitter. Following us on Twitter is the quickest way of keeping up to date with developments.
