Gilders Tip Small (Squirrel)

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

This Gilders Tip measures 87.5mm and is made from pure squirrel hair. It is for picking up loose gold leaf from a Gilders Cushion or direct from the booklet and applying it to the size. The brush is either wiped on the nose or through your hair to collect a little grease. The leaf of gold attaches itself to the brush when it is gently pressed on it.Squirrel Gilders Tip SmallVisit our Gilders Equipment section

Deliveries During Severe Weather Conditions

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

Severe weather conditions are affecting the deliveries of orders. It seems most deliveries are taking 1-2 days longer than usual to be delivered.Non UK deliveries are also likely to take longer, as many of the airports have been closed recently and some flights have been restricted. We are also experiencing delays in receiving goods from some or our suppliers. We apologise for these delays.Pakefield Beach

The Man in Blue – BokehType

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

I recently found this website The Man in Blue“The Man in Blue is the alter ego of Cameron Adams, a Web Technologist in Sydney, Australia. (That means he does graphic design, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, writing, server-side jiggery pokery, and anything else that takes his fancy that day.)”There are some very interesting articles on this website about a wide range subjects. However, it was BokehType that caught my attention. I tried to get a couple of screenshots but I was not very successful. Its hard to explain – you will just have to visit the BokehType page and see for yourself what happens.BokehType 1BokehType 2

The Guideline Generator is BACK!

Monday, January 4th, 2010

Over the holiday period we fixed the guideline generator :) For those of you who have not used it yet, this application will rule up paper for you. You don’t have to waste valuable practice time ruling up yourself. You simply enter the values for the ascender, body height, descender and space between these lines. The guideline generator will then create the lines and all you have to do is print the page :) Give it a go! Guideline Generator
