Often described as a calligraphy legend and national treasure, I have been extolling the virtues of calligraphy online since 2010. Sadly, my first calligraphy blog has gone to the virtual scrapheap in the sky, but I can still be found raising tittles elsewhere.
When not modifying my cursives I can be found trudging the muddy country lanes of Devon with my faithful hound, Sydney.
I began selling calligraphy locally in 2003, mostly writing names on place cards for weddings. Since 2010 I have been intermittently selling my work online. Although I can still be hired for wedding work my preference is for bespoke commissions such as writing out letters, poems, or wedding vows. I also quite like getting stuck into a stack of envelopes.
My claim to fame is having my calligraphy used on packaging by Crabtree & Evelyn for their Florentine Freesia body cream, and my lettering can also be seen on signage at the Farmer Butcher Chef restaurant at Goodwood.
