The construction of the Brause 361 makes it very flexible and smooth gliding. Only a medium pressure required to produce bold swells making it a favourite nib for Copperplate and Modern Calligraphy. Durable making it great for practising.

Suitable for medium x-heights.

Good flexible nib gives excellent contrast between light upward and heavy downward strokes.

I write all my angry letters of grievance using this nib. Paired with my scratchiest parchment, it really sings as I verbally rip into all those who have wronged me. My horseback messenger, Laurence is always busy, riding up and down the kingdom, delivering my letters of profound disdain. All of which are penned immaculately with this very nib. A pleasure to use.
